If you only grab one thing from the sale, let it be Lululemon’s Align Pants. They’re my most-worn leggings; I throw them on for workouts, walks, travel days, and pretty much any outing that doesn’t require jeans. The waistband doesn’t have a top seam, so nothing digs into my stomach, and I love how smooth and soft they are all over.

If your leggings drawer is already stuffed, you can also grab sweatpants or joggers at a discount. Now’s the time to figure out if Lulu’s Softstreme fabric really deserves its name (reviewers think it does). One shopper says wearing the Softstreme High-Rise Pants feels like having a fuzzy blanket on your legs.

If you don’t have at least one pair of sweatshorts, you’re seriously missing out. The Scuba High-Rise Shorts go perfectly with the Scuba Hoodie, and the pair creates a perfect fall uniform that’s comfortable but won’t make you overheat on warmer days. For something you can throw on before hitting the gym, go with the Align High-Rise Shorts that have the same stretch and silkiness as the leggings.

We’re so glad athletic skirts aren’t just for cheerleaders or tennis players anymore because they make for an easy, comfy outfit. (For one thing, you never have to worry about them riding up like shorts.) You can scoop up a cute pleated one or go with a cargo style if rugged and outdoorsy is more your vibe.

When exercise dresses appeared on the scene a few years ago, they were a revelation—and they remain one of the comfiest things you can wear while running errands or brunching on a sweltering day. Take the Align V-Neck Bra, for example: It’s made from the same material as my favorite leggings, has thick straps that won’t dig into your shoulders, and a long waistband (no underboob here!).

Among the many tops you can snag for less right now is the 2023 Activewear Award–winning Softstreme Perfectly Oversized Cropped Crew, which is just as comfy as the sweatshirt you’ve had since high school and throw on any time you’re sick or hungover (hey, wellness is balance). It’s got that whole slouchy-but-stylish thing going on, too. The Swiftly Tech Cropped Short-Sleeve Shirt 2.0 is another great grab; it’s fitted so it won’t hang down and get in the way during your workouts.

Pretty soon, you’ll be able to wear a jacket outside without sweating your butt off. Lulu has fitted ones that act as a soft, light layer under a heftier jacket (we’re thinking in advance here), and looser options that’ll allow you to feel a nice breeze while you walk or run.

Lululemon might not be top of mind when you think about buying new sneakers (maybe because they didn’t make them until a couple years ago), but we think you should give them a try.
